A relationship of interest does not entail a conflict of interests. To develop their products, companies have to build relationships with experts, journalists and public figures. It is, of course, necessary to preserve and develop this complementarity, which brings science forward and allows for therapeutic progress.
At the same time, it is necessary for these relationships to be publicly known and easily accessible.

 

By revealing the existence of these relationships, the “Healthcare Transparency” public database allows each internet user to objectively consider the nature of relationships between the healthcare industries with other key players in the sector.
